APEAM includes two groups — all avocado
growers and all avocado packers who are
registered by the Mexican Plant Health Authorities
in the Avocado Export Program to the U.S.

APEAM is growing fast

Current APEAM members include more than 3,500 growers, who farm approximately 30,000 hectars, and 26 packers — a membership growth of nearly 200% in just the past five years.

Today, APEAM growers and packers employ more than 14,000 full-time and seasonal workers and office staff.

APEAM's strong leadership

APEAM’s officers include Jorge Fernández Barragán, chairman of APEAM. APEAM’s daily operations are headed by general manager Mario Bucio. In addition, APEAM maintains market representatives in New York City, Chicago and McCallen, Texas.
